Day 4: The bittersweet end of an amazing and tiring Fan Expo weekend. Cutting off our wristbands (that we couldn’t take off for four days).

Day 4: Watching Jeff Shelly, a Disney Artist, sketch out Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey for me. Such an amazing experience!

Day 4: In line at the Disney booth, for our free sketches.

Day 4: One of my favourite purchases of the weekend, a Dalek Drone.

Day 3: One of Allan’s most prized purchases from the weekend, and my gift to him, an SDCC exclusive Spider-Man Mighty Mugg.

Day 3: After seeing how cool Agnes’s sketches were, Allan asked for a Spider-Man commission. She is so talented and her style is so unique.

Day 3: I won this sketch by Agnes Garbowska during the Women of Comics sketch duel. So awesome!

Day 2: I normally don’t fan-girl much, but…I GOT TO TAKE MY PHOTO WITH HIM TOO! AND I GOT TO POSE/PUT MY ARM AROUND HIM TWICE BECAUSE OF A MESS UP WITH THE PREVIOUS GIRL! SO HE TOUCHED MY BACK. TWICE! UGH. HE. IS. AMAZING.

Tom Felton called me 'sweet Christine'

  • Me: Hi...
  • Tom: Hey, how are you?
  • Me: Good, how're you?
  • Tom: I'm doing just well, thanks.
  • Me: I'll see you at the photo-op.
  • Tom: That's great (sees my name on the sticky note) Christine, is that you?
  • Me: Yup!
  • Tom: Ah, sweet Christine.
  • Me: *blush*
  • Tom: How's your day so far?
  • Me: Well it's gotten much better now that I've met you.
  • Tom: Aw, bless you. Well, thank you!
  • Me: No, thank you, so much!
  • Day 2: My autographed photo by the ever so lovely, Tom Felton.

Day 2: The highlight of my Fan Expo weekend, meeting Tom Felton also known as Draco Malfoy. (Obviously I was taking the picture, not in it, aha!)

Day 1: Our LCS had a booth at Fan Expo and we stopped by to say hi to the owner, Phil. He gave us free Pocky. It made me feel better considering I was wondering around with a newly acquired cold. Yay for free Pocky!

Day 1: It’s Psylocke! Allan’s first head sketch by artist Alvin Lee.

Day 1: Artist Alvin Lee working on Allan’s first sketch of the weekend. Who will it be?

Day 1: As with every Fan Expo that we’ve been to, one of our first stops is Artist Alley, where fans can meet the artists, get autographs and quick sketches or commissions. Also known as ‘waiting in lines for days’.
